AMA MATHEWOS, MPA, BSN, RN, NEA-BC, CTA-CC

FOUNDER & OWNER

I help nurse leaders gain the skills and confidence to successfully cultivate healthy work environments, build engaged teams, and achieve excellent outcomes. I support nurse leaders to meet and exceed their goals through utilizing the Evolve Lead Succeed framework inspired by my 16 plus years of progressive nursing leadership experience in acute care medical centers, urban community hospitals, and ambulatory care settings. As a certified coach, I have supported clinical nurses, nurse managers, directors and CNOs on professional & leadership development, role transitions, career advancement, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.

I am a dynamic, resilient board-certified transformational nurse leader coach with substantial experience in leading change, creating a high-performance culture, building teams, retaining talent, and collaborating across disciplines to achieve institutional goals, most notably an initial ANCC Magnet designation.

Additionally, I mastered managing competing priorities, developing teams, recruiting top talent, mentoring and succession planning, implementing technology, maintaining labor relations, and using strong organizational and analytical skills to develop innovative solutions on a large scale. And I am well equipped to support my clients to effectively excel in these areas as well.

As your personal executive coach, my goal is to have you meet and exceed your goals through our work together.
In my own work as a nurse leader, I have:

Maintained nearly two years of zero RN turnover and a 90% overall employee retention rate

Retained the majority of my new grad hires for four plus years

50% of my eligible nurses were certified (325% increase over four years)

Outperformed NDNQI benchmarks for more than eight consecutive quarters

Reduced CLABSI & CAUTI by 100% and Falls by 73%

As a coach, I guide my clients with warmth, confidence, and strength through a supportive approach centered around accountability, respect, and appreciation.
